Palit denies report of Galax factory closure – It’s business as usual

Palit denies reports that a Galax GPU factory is closing

Palit has officially released a statement refuting a report that it is closing a Galax GPU factory. The report claimed Palit is closing a Galax GPU factory due to an insufficient supply of Nvidia chips. It also suggests that Galax and KFA2 graphics cards would eventually disappear from the GPU market, with Palit directing resources to its Palit and Gainward brands.

Palit has denied these rumours, saying the “claims are inaccurate”. The brand also confirmed that “no manufacturing facilities have been shut down”, and that “production and business operations [are] continuing as usual.”

We are aware of recent reports and speculation regarding GALAX’s business operations. We would like to clarify that these claims are inaccurate.

GALAX continues to operate as usual. No manufacturing facilities have been shut down, and GALAX products remain available through our sales channels in both domestic and international markets.

As part of the same group, GALAX and Palit share manufacturing facilities, with production and business operations continuing as normal.

We remain fully committed to delivering high-quality products and supporting our customers, partners, and the global community.

We sincerely appreciate your continued trust and support.

– Galax Statement

In May, Palit confirmed that it is working on “the next generations to come“. This statement confirmed its plans to release next-generation Nvidia graphics cards. While the Palit group has been reorganised, their Galax, KFA2, and HOF brands all remain. In fact, Galax unveiled its RTX 5080 HOF Extreme GPU this month. That wouldn’t make sense if Galax’s manufacturing sites faced imminent closure.
