Galax, KFA2 and HOF are working on next-generation GPUs – Palit confirms

Palit confirms next-generation GPU plans for Galax, KFA2, and HOF

It’s been a confusing week or so for Palit, Galax, KFA2 and HOF. No, Galax isn’t leaving the GPU market, and neither is KFA2 or HOF. In fact, Palit has just issued a statement confirming that all of these brands are working on “the next generations to come”. Yes, Galax is working on next-generation GeForce GPUs!

We didn’t report on the rumours that Galax was leaving the GPU market. Simply put, those reports made claims that were not verified by the documents/statements made at the time. The whole thing was a misunderstanding stacked on another misunderstanding. Nobody should have been reporting that Galax were leaving the GPU market…

So what happened between Palit and Galax?

The Palit Group is reorganising, and its brands are being placed under the direct control of Palit Group headquarters. As such, the management of Galax, KFA2, and HOF was changing. Due to an “internal misunderstanding”, incorrect information was shared with the leader of Galax Brazil, TecLab’s Ronaldo Buassali. This led to incorrect information being posted publicly and misinterpreted by some members of the press.

Below is Galax/Palit’s newest statement on the issue. Simply put, Galax is not leaving the GPU market. On the contrary, Palit says that Galaxing is “working to develop the best products ever.” With this statement, all speculation about Galax’s future should come to an end. Yes, the brand’s management is changing, but that’s common in business.

Official Palit and Galax Statement

Clarifying our future and our commitment to the worldwide community

We want to address some recent confusion regarding the future of the GALAX brand.
First and foremost, we’d like to clear up a miscommunication involving the leader of Galax Brazil, Ronaldo from TecLab.

Due to an internal misunderstanding, some incorrect information was shared with him, and we want to set the record straight.

We have a long and successful history working with Ronaldo, whose leadership has kept Galax at the top for years.

Thanks to his work and the incredible TecLab team, Galax and Palit will keep providing the best products and the highest level of support for gamers and enthusiasts in all the world.

We will follow and keep the best standards that Ronaldo and TecLab provide to Brazil, because we are intensely concerned with the quality and performance of our products and with providing the highest level of customer service.

GALAX is not leaving the graphics card market, but working to develop the best products ever.

We are currently integrating our brand management (GALAX, KFA2, and HOF) directly under the Palit Group headquarters.

We are fully prepared for the current generation of GPUs and are already working on the next generations to come.

The GALAX, KFA2, and HOF brands are stronger than ever,

We are excited to continue delivering the best hardware that you love.

Palit’s management changes aim to make Galax, KFA2, and HOF brands “stronger than ever”. Palit wants to increase the global reach of these GPU brands, which means that their GPUs should become more widely available in the future.
