Asustek rolls out 2ms 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor
According to an online source, Asustek Computers last week debuted its 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor (MW221U) featuring a response time of 2ms.
The MW221U 22 supports HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) and has resolution of 1,680×1,050 pixels, wide viewing angles, contrast ratio of 700:1 and brightness of 300 cd/m2, according to Asustek.
In addition, the company introduced three other widescreen LCD monitors including one 20-inch model (MW201U) and two 19-inch ones (VW191 and VW192).
“As the display market migrates towards the widescreen segment, Asustek will introduce two more widescreen LCD monitor series in the fourth quarter”, said Asustek’s director of display business unit Vincent Chiou.
Asustek have not yet released any details regarding the expected pricing for the units.
