Tier 1 manufacturer, ASUS, has revealed their G-Panel which allows the user to adjust FSB, voltage, fan speed, etc from a convenient 5.25″ drive-bay device. The G-Panel is part of ASUS’ ROG motherboards and is quite a large unit – actually occupying two 5.25″ bays. According to the source article, the G-Panel is compatible with some ROG motherboards, but specific models are unknown.
G-Panel is compatible with some mobos of ROG series, but the precise list is not given.
It’s also uncertain as to whether the G-Panel will ship with future ROG motherboards or remain as an optional extra. Regardless, it looks like it’ll cost a wee bit…
