ADATA signs an agreement with Nidec to bring GentleTyphoon fans to their future XPG products

ADATA has revealed that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nidec Servo, allowing them to source the company’s GentleTyphoon series fans for future XPG products.

ADATA has confirmed that their XPG brand has liquid-based and air-based cooling products in the works, which are now due to include Nidec’s GentleTyphoon fans. ADATA has already launched these GentleTyphoon fans in the form of their XPG VENTO PRO fan, reviving the GentleTyphoon legacy.

Nidec Servo’s GentleTyphoon fans are designed to deliver high levels of static pressure to force air inside and through a PC. This fan design is ideal for heatsinks and liquid cooling radiators, offering users high static pressures of up to3.15 mm H?O and up to 75 CFM of airflow.

Below is a comment from Nidec Servo’s President and CEO Masayuki Mohri;

    Nidec Servo is excited to be furthering its partnership with XPG to bring cutting-edge cooling technology to even more gamers and PC enthusiasts around the world.

We look forward to strengthening our collaboration and combining our respective competencies in gaming products and motor and fan design, as we have done with the VENTO PRO 120 PWM, to deliver gaming products with exceptional cooling capabilities.
