ASRock redefines liquid cooling with its Taichi AQUA and Holo series coolers

ASRock’s taking liquid cooling seriously at Computex

ASRock had a lot of liquid cooling solutions on show at Computex 2026, and among them, the highlights were in their Taichi lineup. These flagship-level products took two distinct approaches to the liquid-cooling market. One focused on visual flair, while the other delivers custom loop-inspired aesthetics and performance.

First off, we have the Taichi 360 HOLO, which is the first CPU liquid cooling solution to integrate a spinning holographic display. This cooler produces a floating 3D visual effect using its spinning holographic screen. This gives users an entirely different look to standard LCD displays, giving users an exciting visual experience.

Since these holographic displays utilise “persistence of vision” tech, they are very hard to photograph. Simply put, cameras and human vision work very differently, so we’ve had to layer three images on top of each other to simulate what the Taichi Holo looks like in person. Users are presented with a hovering image that appears to float in mid-air, an interesting effect that isn’t available on standard CPU coolers.

Here’s a look at the Taichi 360 HOLO’s pump top when it isn’t spinning. When in motion, it works like any other holographic display. Users can customise this display to showcase images or animations.

Taichi AQUA 360 – An all-in-one cooler with “enhanced DIY flexibility”

With the Taichi AQUA, ASRock takes a different approach. Here, performance takes priority. This cooler draws inspiration from the custom liquid cooling market, using a water block similar to those in custom setups.

This liquid cooler comes with an LCD screen, which can be mounted on your CPU water block or elsewhere inside your PC. Given the nice custom liquid cooling aesthetic of this block, I think it would be a shame to cover it. If I were to use this cooler, I’d mount it elsewhere inside my PC case using its magnets.

The fans are high-performance daisy-chainable fans. These fans are built with tight tolerances and with a performance focus. The cooler also features two pumps that are located inside its radiator. Just look at how tight the tolerances are between the blades of these fans and their housing.

For “enhanced DIY flexibility and superior cooling performance”, this cooler features two G1/4-inch fittings. In theory, this allows users of this cooler to upgrade their liquid-cooling setup or refill it if necessary.

The ASRock Taichi AQUA is designed for high-end enthusiasts who focus on performance. Sadly, ASRock were unable to confirm this cooler’s pricing or release date at the booth.

ASRock also showcased its new “Rock” series of CPU coolers, which focus on practicality and long-term reliability. Their single-frame 360mm fans enable easy installation, and the cooler is available with or without a “Digital” screen on its pump housing that can display system information such as CPU temperatures.
