ASUS ROG Ryuo IV SLC CPU Liquid Cooler Showcased – Launch Immanent?
It looks like ASUS is ready to launch their ROG Ryuo IV SLC CPU liquid cooler
At CES 2025, we first saw ASUS’ ROG Ryuo IV SLC CPU liquid cooler in action. It looks like ASUS is ready to launch its new liquid cooling solution. DIY Ape (via Uniko’s Hardware) has showcased ASUS’ new liquid cooling solution inside a system, alongside its retail packaging.
What’s special about ASUS’ new CPU liquid cooler? Two things. First, we have the shorter tubing between the liquid cooler and its attached CPU water block. Next, we have the cooler’s curved AMOLED screen. The former feature makes this cooler’s tubing less visible, while the latter feature further draws attention away from these tubes.
(We saw this CPU cooler in action at CES in January)
If the cooler’s power cable is managed effectively, this AIO can be used to give the appearance of a “cable-free” PC when combined with an ASUS BTF motherboard and a compatible PC case.
Appearance-wise, this CPU cooler has a similar appearance to TRYX’s Panorama series CPU coolers. Note that the use of such a large LCD makes ASUS’ new RYUO IV series liquid coolers “premium” products. That said, ASUS’ ROG series has always been “premium.”
With its 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display and new CPU block design, this new liquid cooler had âwowâ factor. Furthermore, its new tubing routes make this AIO liquid cooler perfect for BTF PC builds.
When will ASUS’ ROG Ryuo IV SLC become available?
Sadly, the pricing of this new liquid cooler has not been confirmed. However, the CPU cooler is said to be launching in May.
Note that the fans of this new cooling solution feature a new design. These new ASUS RYUO series fans add a âcyberpunkâ style aesthetic to your PC build with RGB lighting on its sides and fan blades. Note that these fans are daisy-chainable and use a magnetic connector to link fans together and transmit power and control signals.
The curved 6.67-inch AMOLED screen on the RYUO IV SLC can be used to display hardware information, 3D media, or other custom images. This display snaps into place with magnets and can be attached to ASUSâ pump housing in one of two orientations. This allows users to orient their AIOâs screen optimally for user viewing.
