ASUS’ ROG Ryuo series liquid coolers are now available to pre-order

At Computex 2018, ASUS revealed their Ryuo and Ryujin series’ of all-in-one liquid coolers, bringing the Republic of Gamers brand into the CLC market with high-end product offerings that boast a unique feature set.

Now, ASUS’ ROG Ryuo series of liquid coolers have become available for pre-order in the UK, offering an aesthetic that is designed to closely match other Republic of Gamers products, Aura Sync compatible lighting and an integrated OLED display that can showcase custom images, gifs and logos.

The Ryuo series acts as ASUS’ entry-level ROG offering, shipping with 120mm and 240mm variants. The ROG Ryuo seems to be an Asetek CLC design, with both models shipping with support for all modern CPU sockets, which includes AM4, TR4, LGA 115X, LGA 1366, LGA 2011-3 and LGA 2066.

On Overclockers UK, ASUS’ 120mm Ryuo AIO costs £129.95, whereas its larger 240mm counterpart costs £159.95. These prices could change before release, though we have already found multiple UK-based retailers that use the same pre-order pricing for ASUS’ ROG Ryuo series coolers.

The unique selling point of ASUS’ Ryuo coolers is their ROG series branding, for those who want everything inside their systems to match as much as possible, and the unit’s use of a 1.77-inch OLED display, which can be used to monitor your system’s status or to display custom animations or logos. The addition of an OLED display is likely that has pushed the pricing of the ROG Ryuo higher than most other CLC liquid coolers of this size.
