be quiet officially launches reverse-flow Light Wings fans
be quiet! launches 120mm and 140mm reverse-flow Light Wings RGB fans
be quiet is expanding its Light Wings series of fans with new reverse-flow RGB models. These fans will become available for purchase next month in two forms. There will be Light Wings 140mm PWM Reverse and Light Wings LX 120mm PWM Reverse models.
These new fans are optimised for situations where fans would look best in an inverted orientation. This allows PC builders to maximise the aesthetic appeal of their systems while maintaining optimal airflow.
Both of be quiet’s new reverse-flow fan models are compatible with 5V ARGB headers. Users can synchronise/control these fans using motherboard software. Additionally, users can daisy-chain these fans to simplify cable management.
be quiet originally made its Light Wings 140mm PWM reverse fans for the company’s Light Base 900 FX PC cases (see our review here). Soon, these fans will be available as a standalone product. Note that be quiet’s Light Wings LX 120mm reverse fans are available in the company’s Light Base 600 LX cases.
Be quiet’s new reverse-flow Light Wings RGB fans will be available in black and white variants from April 8. These fans will be available with a suggested retail price of â¬27.50 / $34.90 / £24.99 for the Light Wings 140mm PWM Reverse and â¬18.90 / $22.90 / £14.99 for the Light Wings LX 120mm PWM Reverse. More information about these fans is available on be quiet’s website.
