be quiet unveils its Pure Base 803 case at Computex
Meet the be quiet Pure Base 803
Be quiet has officially unveiled its Pure Base 803 at Computex 2026, a large-scale, high-performance PC case that will be available in many forms. That case will support liquid cooling solutions up to 420mm in size, and all models will ship with four 140mm fans out of the box.
The standard Pure Base 803 will be available in black and ship with four pre-installed Pure Wings 3 fans. The Pure Base 803 LX will ship with four pre-installed Light Wings LX series fans, and will be available in both black and white. Finally, there is the workstation variant of this case, which ships with a mesh front panel for additional airflow. This model will also support up to 10 hard drives and EEB/CEB-sized motherboards.
The Pure Base 803 has its PSU mounted at the top, and the case supports back-connect motherboards. This includes ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero (PZ), and Gigabyte Stealth motherboards. In total, 11 140mm fans can be installed inside this PC case. With three bottom-mounted 140mm fans, this case is ideal for users of high-power/performance gaming graphics cards.
The be quiet Pure Base 803 Airflow is a proper workstation case
The workstation version of this case replaces its tempered glass front panel with a meshed front panel. Three 140mm fans can be installed on this panel for airflow. The standard Pure Base 803’s side fan mount can be replaced with a panel that supports installing 3.5-inch drives. This makes this case ideal for mass storage applications. In total, this PC case supports up to 10 hard drives.
Instead of using be quiet’s HDD mounting rack, users can opt to install three side-mounted 140mm fans in this location. This enables an exceptionally high level of airflow inside this PC case. This is useful for users of exceptionally powerful/hot-running systems. While this will be overkill for most systems, the option is there.
Sadly, we did not hear pricing or availability information for the Pure Base 803. That said, the case appeared to be very far along in its development.
