EK releases X570 chipset water blocks for Gigabyte Aorus X570 motherboards
While this chipset fan should be running at low RPMs, or turned off, in most situations, the fan remains as a source of unwanted noise within many X570 systems, so much so that some modders have designed their own replacement heatsinks. Now EK Waterblock has heard the call, and have created its first EK-Quantum Momentum series chipset waterblock, which will arrive first on Gigabyte’s Aorus series motherboards.Â
With their new Aorus X570 chipset water block, EK promises superior thermal performance, enhanced longevity (as it contains no moving parts), and can be installed with five screws. This PCH heatsink is an overkill solution to the noise problems that X570’s chipset fans may cause, but when it comes to silence, we know that many PC builders would be more than happy with an extravagant solution to their chipset problems.Â
