EK’s new EK-AIO series is the company’s true entry point into the plug-and-play liquid cooling market

EK Water Blocks (EKWB) has tried to enter the All-In-One (AIO) Liquid cooling market before with its predator series of Closed-Loop Liquid Coolers (CLCs). These units offered users expandability and a design that’s unlike competing models from the likes of Corsair, EVGA and countless other manufacturers.

While the expandability of EK’s predator series was a major selling point, it made their units clunky, difficult to mount and overly complicated for many mainstream users. What was to be a natural entry point into full-on custom water cooling was also too complex to be sold as a “set it and forget it” world of all-in-one liquid coolers.

Now, EKWB has revealed its new EK-AIO series of All-in-One liquid coolers, offering users the simplicity that other manufacturers provide and pricing that’s a lot more competitive with high-end units from Corsair and others. Better still, EK has opted to use a block-mounted pump design, a feature which immediately makes the series more usable than the company’s older Predator series of pre-filled liquid coolers. No more radiator mounted pumps to spoil compatibility with mainstream case designs.

With its new EK-AIO series, EK plans to launch with three models, offering variants with 120mm, 240mm and 360mm radiator sizes. Each of these models will ship with an ARGB compatible pump top design and 7-blade addressable RGB Fierce series 120mm fans. Each of these fans features 9 addressable RGB LEDs.

EK’s new AIOs will all ship with 28mm thick radiators with 12 channels and a stylish black colouring. These AIOs will be compatible with most modern cases, which are manufactured to accommodate these industry-standard radiator sizes.

The RGB lighting on these coolers are designed to support ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock RGB LED lighting software solutions. These All-In-One liquid coolers are also designed to support all modern Intel/AMD CPU sockets. These liquid coolers will ship with a 5-year limited warranty.

Update – Please note that EK doesn’t have a standalone RGB software utility. EK relies on using the ARGB lighting support on your motherboard or RGB lighting controller of choice.

CPU Socket Support:

– Intel Sockets LGA: 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-3, 2066
– AMD Sockets: AM4, AM3, AM3, AM2, FM2, FM2, FM2, FM1
