EKWB releases their new Fluid Gaming A240R kit and RX Vega water block
The main addition to EK’s Fluid gaming series is their new A240R water cooling kit, which includes a reservoir pump combo, an AMD/Intel compatible CPU water block, a 28mm thick 240mm aluminium radiator, coolant, tubing, two 120mm EK Vardar fans, aluminium fittings and an AMD reference RX Vega/Vega Frontier Edition water block. This kit will be available for â¬249.95 at EK’s website, though their Fluid Gaming Radeon RX Vega series water block will also be available separately for â¬89.95. Â
While hardened water coolers may be repulsed by the idea of aluminium components, EK’s Fluid gaming series is designed to be corrosion resistant due to the all-aluminium nature of EK’s Fluid gaming components. While Aluminium does have a lower thermal conductivity than copper, the cooling prowess of EK’s Fluid Gaming products is not hugely affected when compared to their copper counterparts, offering users great value for money.
The only thing that users of Fluid gaming series water cooling components will need to watch out for is mixing metals in their water cooling loop, as this will lead to unwanted corrosion. Only all-aluminium metallic components should be used with fluid gaming water cooling components.Â
