HYTE launches their THICC Q80 Trio CPU Cooler at CES 2025

Hyte opens pre-orders for their THICC Q80 Trio CPU cooler at CES 2025

At CES 2025, HYTE proudly announced that their THICC Q80 Trio liquid cooler is now available for pre-order. This is the 360mm version of HYTE’s popular THICC Q60 all-in-one CPU liquid cooling solution, which features a larger radiator block and HYTE’s new THICC FP12 Trio fans. Currently, this cooling solution is available in “Snow White” and “Pitch Black” and will be available in Q1 2025 with an MSRP of $319.99.

HYTE has designed their new THICC Q80 cooling solution with their Y70 and Y70 Touch PC cases in mind. This is the largest liquid cooling solution that comfortably fits inside a Hyte Y70 series case. With its 52mm thick radiator and 32mm thick fans, this liquid cooling solution is designed with performance in mind.

With this new liquid cooler, Hyte is promising users the “highest performance-to-noise” ratio on the market. Add on the cooler’s 5-inch Ultraslim IPS display, and it will also be one of the most eye-catching liquid coolers available.

The 5-inch screen on this new HYTE cooler has an HD (720p) resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The rear of the display features 42 RGB LEDs, which splash a glow of RGB colour across the motherboards of users. Hyte’s “floating screen mount” also allows users to orient their screen perfectly, offering users 180 degrees of swivel.

The HYTE THICC Q80 launches with NEXUS 2.0 support

HYTE has created a new version of their NEXUS software suite called NEXUS 2.0. This update enhances the capabilities of HYTE’s existing products and will support the THICC Q80 Trio on day 1. This gives users more screen personalisation options, including real-time performance graphing, live media playback, HD video/GIF/image playback, and more.

HYTE has also integrated support for the OpenRGB SDK into their Nexus 2.0 software, allowing users to sync their cooler’s RGB elements with other RGB devices.
