NZXT reveals their new H700i, H400i and H200i series cases

NZXT has officially revealed their new H-series of PC cases, offering users some high-end functionality out of the box with NZXT’s custom CAM-powered smart controller, which allows users to control both RGB lighting and create custom fan speed profiles to offer silent operation and stunning lighting. 

This chassis comes in ATX, MATX and ITX variants, the H700i, H400i and H200i, all of which come with tempered glass side windows and cable management tracks for an easy/tidy building experience. All of these cases also come with water cooling support, with the ITX version supporting a 240mm push/pull radiator in the front and a 120mm radiator at the top, the MATX version supporting a 240mm/280mm radiator in push/pull at the front and a 280mm radiator at the top and the ATX version which supports 360mm push/pull radiator at the top and a 360mm radiator at the front of the chassis. 

All of these cases also come with NZXT’s new Aer series fans, with the H700i coming with 3x 120mm fans at the front of the chassis and 1x 140mm fan at the rear of the chassis, the H400i supporting 2x 120mm fans at the front of the chassis and a single 120mm fan at the rear of the chassis and the H200i which comes with a single 120mm fan at both the top and rear of the chassis (2 fans in total).

The front I?O of these cases will ship with two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 ports at the front of the chassis as well as standard audio in/out jacks.  

 

 

The H700i is the largest of NZXT’s three new cases, with support for up to five 2.5-inch drives, and two 2.5/3.5-inch drives and support for up to five 140mm fans or seven 120mm fans.

Looking at the images below you will also be able to see several dedicated cable routing tracks, which should allow most PC builders to be able to create route their cable with ease in an extremely neat manner. This is great news for those of us who don’t like to spend excessive amounts of time on cable management, as all of the thought and preparation has already been done for your by NZXT. 

 

       

 

To put it simply the H400i is the MATX version of the H700i, coming with few compromises when compared to its ATX counterpart, aside from its support for smaller water cooling radiators and only a single 3.5-inch storage drive.

In addition to this case’s single 3.5-inch drive mount, this chassis comes with support for up to five 2.5-inch drives, which should offer plenty of storage space for most PC users. 

  

       

 

The H200i is easily the smallest chassis of the bunch, releasing with a heavily restricted feature set and mounting options for three 2.5-inch drives and a single 3.5-inch drive and support for only dual-slot GPUs. 

Looking at this chassis it looks like many of today’s modern GPUs, 2.5-slot GPUs or wider, will either have very little breathing room or be unable to be mounted into this chassis at all without interference. This could e be a big problem for ultra-high-end MITX gaming in this chassis, though we will have to see how well this chassis copes with large GPUs when it starts to ship.   

 

       
  

NZXT has not issued any firm release dates for these cases, though the H700i, H400i and H200i are listed with prices of $199.99, $149.99 and $129.99 respectively. 

These cases will come with Black/White, All-Black, Black/Red and Black/Blue colour options. 

Will these cases ship with cheaper non-i variants in the future without RGB or fan control functions?
