AMD have silently reduced the UK prices of the Ryzen 7 lineup
 Â
We quickly found that, at least in the UK, that price decreases were not limited to the R7 1800X, or even to Amazon exclusively, finding that the entirety of AMD’s Ryzen 7 lineup is now available at reduced prices at several retailers. These pricing changes are between £20 and £30 for every Ryzen 7 SKU, which is a significant price decrease for the already affordable Ryzen 7 series of CPUs.Â

Below are images comparing today’s Ryzen 7 prices with the CPU’s initial pre-order prices, showing price decreases across the board.Â
– AMD Ryzen 7 1800X 3.6GHz Base 4GHz Boost (Was £488.99, Now £449.99)Â
– AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 3.4GHz Base 3.8GHz Boost (Was £389.99, Now £349.99)Â
– AMD Ryzen 7 1700 3.0 GHz Base 3.7GHz Boost (Was £319.99, Now £299.99)

AMD’s Ryzen 7 series of CPUs already offer a great deal of value for money, especially when compared to Intel’s 8-core offerings. This price decrease will give PC builders even more value and makes the 8-core R7 1700 cheaper than the Intel i7 7700K.Â
This price decrease is currently available at Overclockers UK and Amazon UK, which means that PC builders can already take advantage of these reduced prices.Â
