AMD’s upcoming Raven Ridge APUs will feature 4 Ryzen CPU cores
AMD’s Raven Ridge CPUs will make up the low-end of AMD’s AM4 lineup, offering up to four CPU cores and four threads and TDPs of between 35W and 95W. Right now it is unknown what type of GPU will be used by these new APUs, be it based on Polaris, Vega or an entirely new GPU architecture.
AMD’s Raven Ridge APUs will offer huge performance benefits over their older Kaveri, Godavari and even their Bristol Ridge APUs, offering enhanced power efficiency and huge gains in both CPU and GPU performance thanks to the use of AMD’s latest Zen and Polaris (perhaps newer) architectures.
