Arctic releases a new Threadripper specific Freezer 33 variant
Arctic has announced a new variant of their Freezer 33 cooler, one that has been modified with AMD’s new Threadripper series CPUs in mind.
This new model is called the Freezer 33TR, which will come with offset heatpipes that offer a larger mounting surface area and a mounting kit that is suitable for AMD’s new 180W Threadripper CPUs. This cooler is designed to offer enough cooling performance for AMD’s new Threadripper CPU without interfering with system memory, allowing memory with large heatsinks to be fitted with ease.
The Freezer 33TR will not support any other CPU platform aside from Threadripper, with the cooler coming with both red and white accented colour schemes.
