ASRock announce their new Gaming-ITX series of AM4 motherboards

At Computex 2017, ASRock has announced their new B350 and X370 Fatal1ty Gaming-ITX series AM4 motherboards, offering Ryzen overclocking support in an ultra small form factor.

Both os these new motherboards will come with support for two HDMI video outputs, built-in 802.11ac wireless and a 7.1 channel audio solution with support for Realtek’s ALC 1220 codec. The X370 Gaming-ITX/ac will have an 8-phase VRM design, an Intel gigabit nic and has an Ultra M.2 slot on the rear of the board.

At this time it is unknown whether or not overclocking will be restricted by this small form factor AM4 design, given the small heatsinks used on the motherboard’s main VRM solution and the lack of a heatsink on the top VRMs.

Storage wise this motherboard will support a single M.2 SSD and up to four SATA devices, which should be more than enough for most modern systems.
