ASRock to launch new AMD A88M-ITX/ac ITX motherboard
Â
ASRock will soon launch a new AMD A88M-ITX/ac ITX motherboard for the FM2+ platform, which offers 6 SATA ports and M.2 support, making this motherboard look like a great contender for a budget friendly ITX home server.Â
This motherboard is expected to ship in time for AMD’s new FM2+ CPU offerings, like the new low power A10 7860K APU and the new Excavator based Athlon X4 845 CPU.Â
This motherboard will offer 3 potential display outputs, making this motherboard capable of supporting a 3 screen setup without the use of an external GPU, provided that your CPU has a integrated graphics processing chip. This motherboard also has an integrated 802.11ac wireless module, giving this motherboard built in WiFi connectivity options.Â
Â
Â
This motherboard would be a good match for a cheap small form factor gaming box or a small PC that you wish to connect a lot of storage devices to, like a simple NAS or home data server.
Right now ASRock has not release any clear release dates or pricing for this new motherboard, but we expect it to be available for around £70. Â
