ASUS’ 200-series motherboards have now been updated to support Intel’s new Optane memory devices, which will release first on the desktop in the form of 16GB or 32GB M.2 caching devices.

This new memory type can then be used to speed up both SSD and HDD powered systems, allowing for faster boot times for your OS and programs.
