Intel has denied recent rumours that they have licensed AMD’s graphics tech for their upcoming CPU designs, stating that “The recent rumours that Intel has licensed AMD’s graphics technology are untrue.”

  
This rumour started spreading on Tuesday and spread amongst many tech rumour sites, originating from Fudzilla who stated unknown sources. In response to this rumour, AMD’s stock prices increased by 12%. with many traders expecting AMD to make an official announcement at their Financial Analyst Day. 

AMD announced a lot of things at this event, but no licensing deal with Intel, with this official denial by Intel causing AMD’s stock prices to fall by 12% once again, bringing AMD’s stocks back to their original value.

AMD has announced plans to create new mobile APUs which combine their new Vega GPU technology and their Zen CPU technology to create a new power efficient APU design to regain market share in the mainstream/mobile market, finally giving AMD the opportunity to create their on premium Ultrabook designs.
