The benchmarks below closely match previously leaked Intel i7 7740K benchmarks from an ASRock X299 motherboard, further legitimising these leaks.Â
With a TDP of Kaby lake-X CPUs are expected to be around 112W, offering higher clock speeds than their desktop LGA 1151 counterparts with the potential to offer more overclocking headroom. This CPU will likely be the entry level CPU for the LGA 2066 platform, giving its users the opportunity to upgrade to a CPU with more cores and PCIe lanes at a later date.Â
