Intel’s Core Ultra 3 205 is a budget CPU MONSTER

Intel’s Ultra 3 205 puts its older i3 CPUs to shame

Intel’s Core Ultra 3 205 is now available for sale in some regions, and early benchmark results are impressive. The CPU is the most affordable processor available for Intel’s LGA 1851 socket, and it smashes Intel’s last-generation Core i3 14100.

With four P-cores and four E-cores, it is easy to see why the Core Ultra 205 outperforms Intel’s 4-core i3-14100. In Cinebench R23, Intel’s new Ultra 3 CPU delivers 48% more performance. The Ultra 3 also features impressive graphics performance thanks to its Xe2 GPU. In 3DMARK, it was 75% faster than Intel’s i3-14100.

Overall, Intel’s new Ultra 3 CPU appears to be an excellent option for budget systems. It could also be a good option for a home file server or homelab setup. Its stronger integrated graphics also makes it a solid option for playing some eSports games on a budget.

BullsLab claims that prebuilt systems with the CPU can cost as little as $360 in South Korea, with the CPU costing $120. Overall, the Intel Core Ultra 3 205 appears to be a great low-end CPU. However, its limited global availability undermines its appeal.
