PC enthusiasts have been talking about Coffee Lake for some time now, about Intel’s move to higher core and thread counts in their next generation of desktop product, marking the end of Intel’s quad-core era on the desktop.

Now an Intel slide has leaked from a Chinese presentation, revealing some Intel benchmark numbers for their upcoming desktop-series CPUs, which offer an insane increase in multi-threaded performance when compared to their last generation counterparts.

At this time the pricing information on these CPUs has not been revealed, though Intel is saying that their new CPU models will feature 10% improvement in what is thought to be single threaded performance and 50% performance gains in multi-threaded performance.

This leak also confirms the specifications of Intel’s Coffee Lake i3, i5 and i7 lineups, which will feature 4, 6 and 6 cores and 4, 6 and 12 threads respectively.
