MSI reveals their MATX X299M Gaming Pro Carbon AC Motherboard
MSI has today revealed their new MATX X299M Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard, which fits everything that you should expect from an X299 motherboard into a compact MATX form factor.
This new motherboard will support Intel’s existing X299 lineup as well as their future 12,14,16 and 18 core CPUs, alongside quad channel DDR4 memory and up to a total of 44 PCIe lanes.
The X299M Gaming Pro Carbon AC will also come with an 8+1+1 phase DigitALL power design and dual M.2 NVMe SSD slots, one of which is protected by an MSI M.2 shield. This board also sports dual Gb ethernet Lan, built-in WiFi and a total of eight SATA ports.
Like other X299 Pro Carbon AC motherboards, the X299M has support for RGB LED illumination, comes with replaceable silver, gold and black coloured customisation plates and supports three USB 3.1 Gen2 ports (one front. two rear).
