MSI showcase their X299 Tomahawk Arctic motherboard
MSI have showcased their X299 Tomahawk Arctic motherboard, which comes with an all-white aesthetic and a lot of PCIe and IO options.
This motherboard comes with eight DIMM slots with quad-channel memory support, up to 44 PCIe lanes with applicable CPUs and a 9-phase VRM design for this motherboard’s CPU. This motherboard also comes with a dedicated 4-phase VRM solution for memory.
Storage wise this motherboard offers six SATA III connections, dual M.2 slots and a single M.2 slot. This motherboard supports PCIe the following PCIe configurations using it four total PCIe 16x slots, x16/NC/x16/NC or x16/NC/x8/x8 or x8/x8/x8/x8 with 44-lane CPUs; x16/NC/NC/NC or x8/NC/x8/x4 with 28-lane CPUs.
At this time MSI has not announced the release date or this pricing of this motherboard.
