MSI takes Project Zero to the next level with its MAG X870E TOMAHAWK PZ motherboard
MSI has finally launched a high-end AM5 Project Zero motherboard
It’s finally here! MSI has finally released a high-end Project Zero motherboard for AMD’s AM5 platform. The MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI PZ has arrived, and it looks gorgeous. Like all Project Zero (now PZ) motherboards, this Tomahawk motherboard has all of its internal power and I/O connections on its rear, with the only exception being this motherboard’s PCIe lanes.
This motherboard is intended for PC cases with “hidden cable” support, allowing PC builders to create systems that appear “cable-free”. This allows PC builders to create tidy-looking PCs with ease. It also makes the PC building process simpler, as all motherboard connections can be made from one side of your case’s motherboard tray.
MSI’s MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI PZ will be available in July for $369. The motherboard features support for 5Gb Ethernet and WIFI 7 for fast networking and 40Gbps USB4 for ultra-fast transfer speeds. This motherboard also features four M.2 connectors, two of which support PCIe 5.0 speeds.
As an AM5 motherboard, the MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI PZ will support AMD’s current-generation and next-generation processors. After all, AMD has confirmed its plan to support AM5 until at least 2027.
