Coffee Lake is coming and with it will come a large range of new 300-series motherboards. Today an image of MSI’s upcoming Z370 KRAIT motherboard has been revealed by Videocardz, showcasing a design that has changed a lot since Z270, at least in terms of aesthetics.

The most obvious change is the changed black/white pattern on the motherboard, alongside the addition of RGB lighting to the motherboard’s chipset heatsink. Otherwise, the feature set of this motherboard seems unchanged for the most part.

Looking at the component layout of this motherboard we can see that things are mostly unchanged, with the board using similar component layouts in most locations. Even the MOSFET heatsink on these boards look identical, aside from some aesthetic changes. The only easily noticed change is the change in this motherboard’s SATA slots, with all coming with a right angled configuration.

Here is a link to MSI’s web page for their Z270 KRAIT, allowing you to easily compare both motherboards.
