ASUS has teased their new ROG Z270 Maximus IX Extreme motherboard with integrated water cooling monoblock which cools the boards VRMs, CPU and the board’s top M.2 slot.

This motherboard monoblock will be manufactured by Bitspower and will allow users of this motherboard to easily cool all of its core components with a single water block. With the power of water cooling, this motherboard will enable enthusiast grade overclocking performance with Kaby lake CPUs, offering unparalleled per-core CPU performance.

This ROG next-gen motherboard comes with the world’s first integrated monoblock, expertly manufactured by Bitspower. The monoblock integrates the neighbouring M.2 heatsink for unmatched heat-dissipation to eliminate throttling — improving both reliability and enabling extreme performance.

This will be the first motherboard that ASUS has released with a fully integrated water cooling solution at stock, rather than just a hybrid air/water cooling ready VRM heatsink.

It is expected that this motherboard will be released soon, though at this time we do not have any pricing information available.
