16GB! Retail leak reveals Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti SUPER memory specs

Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti SUPER features a 4GB memory upgrade

Videocardz has spotted some RTX 40 SUPER GPU listings that have seemingly confirmed a vital upgrade that Nvidia will offer with their RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. This SUPER series graphics card will feature 16GB of VRAM, which is a hefty upgrade over the RTX 4070 Ti and its 12GB frame buffer.

Nvidia’s due to reveal their RTX 40 SUPER series of graphics card at CES 2024. At this event, Nvidia will reveal their RTX 4070 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4080 SUPER. Only Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti SUPER will receive a memory upgrade. This upgrade should give the graphics card access to more VRAM and more total memory bandwidth. Assuming that memory speeds are the same as a standard RTX 4070 Ti, this GPU’s SUPER variant will have access to 33% more VRAM capacity and total memory bandwidth.

This leak reveals four RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GPU models from MSI. These GPU models include MSI’s Gaming X Slim, Gaming X Slim White, Ventus 2x OC, and Ventus 2x OC White.

At this time the full specifications and pricing of Nvidia’s RTX 40 SUPER series graphics cards are unknown. At CES 2024, AMD are also likely to reveal a new GPU called the RX 7600 XT. This new RDNA 3 GPU will compete with Nvidia’s RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti graphics cards. Neither of these GPUs appears to be getting the SUPER treatment from Nvidia, at least for now.
