96GB Nvidia RTX Blackwell GPU spotted with 512-bit memory bus

96GB Nvidia RTX GPUs spotted in shipping documents

It looks like Nvidia has something BIG to reveal in the future. A huge 96GB graphics card has been spotted in shipping manifests, with @x86Deadandback spotting these colossal (likely Blackwell) graphics cards.

Since this graphics card has a 512-bit memory bus, this new GPU is likely based on Nvidia’s GB202 silicon. This is the same silicon as Nvidia’s RTX 5090 graphics card. This new GPU is likely an RTX Blackwell series workstation graphics card. To have 96GB of GDDR7 memory, it will need to use 3GB GDDR7 memory modules on both sides of its PCB. Note that no currently revealed RTX 50 series desktop GPU uses 3GB GDDR7 memory modules.

This new GPU would represent a massive upgrade over Nvidia’s RTX 6000 Ada, which is available with 48GB of GDDR6 memory.

If Nvidia plans to reveal a 96GB RTX Blackwell GPU, it will likely be at GTC 2025. This event will be hosted in March, focusing on Nvidia’s GPU/AI technologies.

Rumour has it that Nvidia is also working on an 800W prototype GPU, a graphics card that could become Nvidia’s RTX 5090 Ti or RTX TITAN Blackwell.
