Videocardz states that Nvidia is planning a new GTX 1060 variant with a GP106-100 GPU design, which has been customised for mining and to offer enhanced price to performance ratio. It is also rumoured that AMD is planning to release a new Polaris-based mining GPU, though these rumours have not been confirmed.
