AMD staff hint at Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition driver release date

At the end of November, AMD revealed their next major update to Radeon Software, a new GPU driver package that is said to deliver new features and other updates to users of Radeon hardware.

Since this announcement, AMD has remained silent regarding this new GPU driver, though several hints from AMD affiliated streamers and staff have hinted that this new driver will be released sometime tomorrow. AMD’s own Terry Makedon, the director of AMD software strategy and user experiences, as said to expect something “VERY special” on Tuesday.

At this time there have been no major leaks regarding this new driver update, though some smaller leaks from AMD’s Radeon Software Vanguard program have suggested that an in-game OSD and system monitoring tools will be made available with this new driver. At this time it is expected that this new driver will include other new features, as well as a fix for AMD’s long-running Overwatch “render device lost” bug.
