ASUS ROG RTX 5090 D Extreme Overclocking 2001W GPU BIOS leaks

Insane 2001W ROG Astral RTX 5090 D GPU BIOS Leaks

The so-called Extreme Overclocking (XOC) BIOS for ASUS’ ROG Astral RTX 5090 D graphics card has leaked, giving users access to a power limit of 2001W. In other words, overclockers have been given access to a BIOS with seemingly UNLIMITED POWER!

Currently, it is unknown if ASUS’ XOC ROG Astral RTX 5090 D BIOS is compatible with RTX 5090 non-D graphics cards. If it is, this BIOS has unlocked the full overclocking potential of ASUS’ ROG Astral RTX 5090 graphics cards. That said, we do not recommend trying this BIOS, as it is only intended for extreme overclocking scenarios. Furthermore, 2001 watts of power goes far beyond the limits of this graphics card’s single 12V-2×6 power connector. After all, those called are limited to 600 watts.

As mentioned before, we do not recommend trying out this BIOS. It is intended for extreme overclocking, not for mainstream use. Nevertheless, it is remarkable that this BIOS is now publicly available. This BIOS allows overclockers to push Nvidia’s flagship gaming GPU to its absolute limits with sub-zero cooling. That’s the only way that any GPU could be kept cool when consuming such a huge amount of power.
