ASUS unveils its RTX 5070 Ti TUF Gaming White Edition BTF GPU
ASUS has unveiled its first BTF 2.0 graphics card
ASUS has officially revealed its RTX 5070 Ti TUF Gaming White Edition graphics cards. Graphics cards? Yes! This RTX 5070 Ti TUF Gaming White Edition graphics card is available in two forms: a standard GPU and a ” visually optimised” BTF series graphics card.
The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti BTF White Edition is the company’s first “BTF 2.0” graphics card. It makes use of ASUS’ BTF High Power “GC-HPWR” connector, allowing the GPU to be powered through a custom motherboard connector. This gives this GPU a “cable-free” appearance, maximising its visual appeal.
Stay rugged with durable TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti White Edition graphics cards
TUF Gaming is offering a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti White Edition 16GB and a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti BTF White Edition 16GB graphics card. Both pack phase-change thermal compound for efficient cooling and a host of durability enhancements. These cards also feature a protective PCB coating to help prevent short-circuiting and leverage military-grade components for longevity.
Meanwhile, long Axial-tech fan blades provide more airflow than standard fan designs. And thanks to 0dB technology, the fans shut off when the card is not under heavy loads, so users can enjoy quiet computing.
For users who want the cleanest, most visually-optimized rig possible, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti BTF White Edition is the answer. Thanks to its BTF high-power (GC-HPWR) adapter, this gorgeous white card minimizes cable clutter and dazzles from inside the PC case. And that adapter is detachable, so this graphics card is compatible with standard motherboards in addition to those that use the ASUS BTF design.– ASUS
Note that ASUS’ BTF 2.0 design allows graphics cards to be powered using ASUS BTF series motherboards and standard motherboards. That means that this GPU can also be powered using a 16-pin/12V-2×6 power connector.
Unfortunately, ASUS’ provided images do not give us a clear look at this GPU’s standard 12V-2×6 power connector. Is this power input hidden, or is it visible? If it’s the latter, that would result in a strange-looking PC. After all, if this power connector isn’t hidden, your PC would looks like it has an unpowered graphics card.
We expect to see this new graphics card up close at Computex 2025. Furthermore, we expect to see more BTF-compatible components at the event. Note that ASUS has not provided pricing for this GPU, or an official release date.
