Deus Ex: Mankind Divided delayed to August 2016
Â
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been delayed until August 23rd, 2016. The developers say that “expectations are extremely high, and we not only want to meet those expectations, but exceed them.” Hopefully this delay will help the developers provide the game with adequate polish and provide a stable release.Â
Â
“We’re confident and proud of the game so far. However, as we are now playing through the game in full we can see that it will require more time in post-production for tuning, iterations, and refinement to meet our high standards.”
Â
Â
Nixxes has already stated that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will run at 30FPS on consoles, with the PC having an unlocked, uncapped framerate. This means that the game will be focusing on high graphical fidelity over framerate, suggesting that the game will be fairly demanding on PC like many 30FPS console titles like Assassin’s Creed Unity and The Witcher 3.Â
One big hope for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on PC is that the game will scale well on a wide range of PC hardware, but we should learn more about the PC versions system requirements on the months or weeks leading to it’s launch on August 23rd.Â
Â
Â
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on August 23rd 2016 and will support DirectX 12 and TressFX 3.0 on PC.
