DLSS Override enables DLSS 4 support in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 on day 1

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 supports DLSS 4 thanks to Nvidia’s DLSS Override feature

Thanks to Nvidia’s DLSS Override feature, users of Nvidia’s GeForce RTX GPUs can take advantage of DLSS 4 Super Resolution in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Sadly, the game will lack support for Frame Generation on PC, at least at launch.

DLSS Override is an Nvidia Driver-level feature that can upgrade games with the latest version of Nvidia’s DLSS technology. This enabled higher levels of image quality. With DLSS 4, Nvidia has greatly boosted the image quality of its Super Resolution technology using a new Transformer-based AI model. With DLSS Override, DLAA can also be forced in this game.

NVIDIA app users can upgrade DLSS Super Resolution in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II to our new, even better DLSS 4 transformer AI model to further enhance image quality and activate DLAA.

Nvidia

As mentioned before, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 lacks support for DLSS and FSR Frame Generation. Even with DLSS Override, Nvidia cannot add Frame Generation support to games that don’t support it. However, Nvidia users can use the company’s driver-level “Smooth Motion” tech to add Frame Generation to the game if they desire it.

If you want to know how to use Nvidia’s DLSS Override feature, you can use Nvidia’s DLSS Override guide here.
