Fallout 4 Beta Patch improves stability and performance
Fallout 4 Beta Patch improves stability and performance
Â
One of the most irritating bugs that I have found in Fallout 4 has been when I have found myself locked into a terminal, forcing me to load a previous save, which could be from a fairly long time ago given the games infrequent auto saves.Â
Today a new Beta Patch for Fallout 4 has been released fixing this issue and improving the games general stability and delivering performance improvements on specific areas of the game.Â
The update is 210MB in size and is currently available on Steam.Â
 Â
Here is the changelog for this brand new PC beta update.
- General memory and stability improvements
- Performance improvements inside the Corvega Assembly Plant
- Fixed issue with player becoming stuck in terminals
Â
To get the beta, you need to do the following:Â
1. Log into SteamÂ
2. Right Click on Fallout 4 in your LibraryÂ
3. Select SettingsÂ
4. Select BetasÂ
5. A drop down menu will appear. Select Beta UpdateÂ
6. Select OK.Â
7. Wait a few minutes and Fallout 4 should update.Â
8. When done, Fallout 4 should appear as Fallout 4 [beta] in your LibraryÂ
If you decide you donât want to run the Beta anymore, redo steps 1 â 4. At the drop down, select NONE â Opt out of all beta programs.  Â
