Google Stadia and Nvidia Geforce Now are coming to LG’s latest TVs

At CES 2021, LG has confirmed that they plan to support Google Stadia game streaming on their webOS 6.0 and webOS 5.0 Smart TVs, covering their 2020 and 2021 models.

Stadia support will be available on webOS 6.0 TVs at launch, with webOS 5.0 gaining Stadia support later this year. This feature will allow users of LG’s latest smart TVs to stream games directly to their TV, granting them instant access to games like Cyberpunk 2077, NBA 2K21, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion.

LG also plans to support Nvidia’s Geforce Now game streaming service, though this feature will only be coming to some of their smartTV lineup. This feature is due to arrive in late 2021, and LG plans to discuss supported models and other details closer to launch. Nvidia’s Geforce Now service allows PC games to be streamed through their platform.

Geforce Now and Stadia will only be streamable in the countries where these services are available. After the launch of LG’s webOS 6.0 TVs, the Stadia app for LG smart TVs will be available in the US, Canada, UK and Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Belgium.
