Â
Below we can see that the new RX 480 will come with an 8-pin PCIe power connection, allowing the GPU to consume more power for higher overclocks and reference clock speeds of over 1300MHz.Â

 Â
It looks like AMD will not be increasing the memory bandwidth of the RX 580 to better compete with the GTX 1060 9Gbps, though it must be remembered that the GTX 1060 does use a smaller memory bus size and will offer a lower total memory bandwidth than the RX 580 (216 Gbps vs 256Gbps). Â Â
Right now it is expected that the RX 500 series will be released on April 18th. Â Â
