Images of AMD’s RX 570 and RX 580 have appeared online alongside the GPU’s specifications, confirming that these GPUs will have higher clock speeds than their RX 400 series counterparts and offer modified power designs.

Below we can see that these AMD reference designs will lack any DVI connections, though we can clearly see the pin-out on the PCB, which means that aftermarket models using AMD’s reference PCB could include a DVI connection. We can also see that this GPU will also include the same cooler design as the RX 480-series reference designs.

Below we can see that the new RX 480 will come with an 8-pin PCIe power connection, allowing the GPU to consume more power for higher overclocks and reference clock speeds of over 1300MHz.

It looks like AMD will not be increasing the memory bandwidth of the RX 580 to better compete with the GTX 1060 9Gbps, though it must be remembered that the GTX 1060 does use a smaller memory bus size and will offer a lower total memory bandwidth than the RX 580 (216 Gbps vs 256Gbps).

Right now it is expected that the RX 500 series will be released on April 18th.
