Inno3D teases Nvidia’s RTX 50 series enhancements – “Neural Rendering” and “Advanced DLSS” incoming
Inno3D teases Advanced DLSS, Enhanced Ray Tracing, Neural Rendering, and more ahead of CES 2025
Inno3D has started teasing new “AI-Enhanced Features” ahead of CES 2025, promising that the event will “be a significant one for PC enthusiasts and professionals alike.” While not outright stating it, Inno3D has confirmed that Nvidia will reveal its RTX 50 series of GPUs at CES 2025. After all, their press release explicitly mentions DLSS, which is an Nvidia-only feature.
Based on what Inno3D has to say, Nvidia’s RTX 50 series will be focused on AI. There are promises of “improved AI-driven upscaling”, “AI-enhanced power efficiency”, and “AI-accelerated graphics.” Additionally, “Neural Rendering Capabilities” have been revealed, which Nvidia may focus on with their RTX 50 series marketing.
Nvidia extensively discussed “full ray tracing ” when it revealed its RTX 40 series. For its RTX 50 series, Neural Rendering seems likely to be a topic of interest. This may be the new milestone that Nvidia aims for, using its lead in AI to push gaming in a direction favouring GeForce products.
Mentions of “Advanced DLSS Technology” signal that Nvidia may reveal a new version of DLSS at CES. Alternatively, it may be a sign that their RTX 50 series will accelerate DLSS to deliver larger performance gains than before. Will we be seeing second-generation DLSS Frame Generation, or an enhanced DLSS upscaler?
Nvidia will be pushing AI hard with the release of Blackwell. However, what this means for gamers remains to be seen. Will AI become relevant to gamers outside of AI upscaling? Will Nvidia’s new gaming-focused AI features be transformative? Who knows… I guess we will have to wait and see what Nvidia has to show us at CES 2025.
