Intel “Big Battlemage” ARC PRO B70 GPUs to launch this quarter – leaker claims
Intel’s expected to launch its first “Big Battlemage” GPU this quarter, and it isn’t for gamers
Rumour has it that Intel plans to launch its first “BMG-G31” graphics card this quarter, and it’s not a gaming product. Intel reportedly plans to launch its ARC PRO B70 graphics card soon, a GPU with 32GB of GDDR6 memory. It is currently unknown what Intel’s plans are for its ARC B770, its planned BMG-G31 gaming variant.
With its ARC PRO B70, Intel will deliver a pro-series GPU that’s much stronger than its ARC PRO B60. With 32GB of GDDR6 memory, it can handle much larger datasets than the 24GB ARC PRO B60. Furthermore, this GPU will feature 60% more Xe Cores, enabling higher levels of raw throughput.
Due to rising memory prices, Intel’s new BMG-G31 graphics card is best suited for the “PRO” market. Simply put, these customers can stomach higher costs better than consumers. Due to high memory costs, it has become less profitable to create new consumer-grade GPUs. What’s worse is that one of Intel’s key selling points for ARC is its relative value.
Pro B70 is this quarter, probably alongside the ARL-R announcement

Intel is reportedly working on an ARC BMG-G31 GPU with a 300W TDP. If this is Intel’s ARC B770 GPU, it should feature 60% more Xe2 cores than a B580 and a TDP that’s almost 60% higher. Alternatively, this could be Intel’s ARC PRO B70. Over its 256-bit memory bus, it can support up to 32GB of GDDR6 memory. Intel also has the potential to release an ARC B65 GPU with less memory and fewer Xe cores, perhaps offering users 28GB of memory over a 224-bit memory bus.
