Metal Gear Solid Shadow Moses gets first trailer

Metal Gear Solid Shadow Moses the Unreal Engine 4 remake of the classic game environment has just received it’s first trailer.

This project is not intended to become a full fan remake of any of the of Metal Gear Solid games, but act as a “museum game” that allows gamers to explore the environment using modern technology. Below is a recent post from the head of the project Airam Hernandez.

       Hi guys!

I think it’s time to introduce myself and put a face to this project.

My name is Airam Hernandez and I’m from the Canary Islands (Spain) but I’m currently living in Dublin (Ireland).

– Why I’m doing this?

Well, the first objective of this project was to recreate just the Shadow Moses environments and make a “museum game” to those who wanted to explore the base with current technology.
My surprise was that after a few weeks, everybody was talking about it! So many online magazines started writing articles and I received a lot of messages offering help and support. That’s the reason I decided to remake the entire game!

I also have to thank a person who is helping me a lot! His name is Dan Meadowcroft, and he is doing an amazing job with all the music aspects of the game and is also in charge with the conversations with Konami and all the public relations.

Thanks so much for all your support guys.

I promise you that I will do my best with this. I’m not a Metal Gear fan, I’m a Metal Gear LOVER, so this is really important for me.

As is evident from the trailer above this recreation of Shadow Moses this project is passion project of a true Metal Gear fan, so hopefully he will be able to complete this project with little to no interference from Konami.
