MSI countdown reveals Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Release Date

MSI claims that Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is releasing on February 20th

MSI France has added (and quickly removed) an RTX 5070 Ti countdown timer from their website. Unfortunately for them, this timer wasn’t removed before WCCFTECH spotted it. The URL for this timer makes it clear that it is counting down to Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti GPU launch and that the timer is counting down to when these GPUs will be “available.”

We saw a lot of MSI’s RTX 5070 Ti-series GPUs at CES. This makes it clear that these GPU designs were completed in late 2024. Nvidia’s website currently states that their RTX 5070 series GPUs will launch in “February”, with their RTX 5070 Ti having an MSRP of £729/$749. This makes MSI’s February 20th launch date seem likely.

Given the lack of day-1 RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 GPU stock, there are fears that Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti will sell out quickly on day-1. Gamers are also concerned about their ability to buy new Nvidia GPUs at prices close to their MSRPs. After all, most RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 stock sold at prices far above Nvidia’s MSRP. Will the same be true for the RTX 5070 series?
