MSI reveal their GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z and Gaming X USB Type-C
Â
Many of us are looking forward to Computex for one reason, next-generation graphics hardware, with most looking towards AMD for new information on Vega and perhaps an early look at aftermarket RX Vega designs.Â
Â
Today MSI has showcased two new GTX 1080 Ti GPU models, both of which will be making an appearance at Computex 2017, which included their new GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z and GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X USB Type-C GPUs.Â
Â
Computex 2017 will mark the official return of the MSI Lightning brand, coming with a whole new design aesthetic and a lot of interesting new MSI technologies. Sadly MSI has not specified this GPU’s “new technology”, but we do know that this GPU will use a TriFrozr cooler design (pictured below) and include MSI’s TORX 2.0 fans and support Mystic Light RGB lighting technology.Â
Â
The MSI Lightning is expected to come with higher clocks than any other reference GTX 1080 Ti GPU, though these clocks will likely not be revealed until Computex officially begins.Â
Â
 Â

Â
The second GPU that has been announced is the GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X USB Type-C, which comes with a USB Type-C display output to allow this new GPU to support additional high-resolution display types.Â
