Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti day 1 pricing Rundown
What’s the real cost of Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti?
Nvidia’s official MSRP for its RTX 5070 Ti is £729, but what is this GPU’s pricing in the real world? We checked in with several UK retailers to find out. At the time of writing, only one of these retailers still has RTX 5070 Ti GPUs in stock, and there is a clear reason for that.
Did we find any RTX 5070 Ti GPUs at Nvidia’s MSRP pricing? Yes, we found an MSRP RTX 5070 Ti from MSI at Scan UK. However, this GPU was already out of stock. Most GPUs were priced at around £800 or more. As usual, Nvidia’s MSRP price is practically fictional with the launch of their RTX 5070 Ti.

Below, we have charted the day-1 pricing of all the RTX 5070 Ti models that we could find in the UK. Note that CCL Online had the highest prices of all UK GPU retailers. MSRP? What MSRP?
Stock of Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti at or near Nvidia’s MSRP was practically non-existent. When we checked at retailers, the cheapest GPUs we could pre-order were £799.99 GPU models. That’s 10% higher than Nvidia’s official MSRP. Pre-order stock for those GPUs quickly disappeared, leaving only higher-cost models available to purchase.
The sad thing about today’s launch is that some RTX 5070 Ti models are selling for over £979, the MSRP price of Nvidia’s RTX 5080 graphics card. That’s how broken the pricing model is for GPUs today and how inadequate Nvidia’s launch window stock for RTX 50 series GPUs is.
