Nvidia lowers UK RTX 50-series GPU pricing

Nvidia has lowered the UK MSRPs (most) of their RTX 50 series graphics cards

Today, Nvidia officially lowered the MSRP pricing of most of its RTX 50 series Founders Edition graphics cards in the UK. The RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 have had their pricing reduced. Only Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti retains its original MSRP.

Nvidia has not publicly stated why these prices have changed. That said, it is clear to us that this pricing adjustment is due to changes in USD/GBP exchange rates. The weakness of the US dollar has resulted in a UK RTX 5090 price drop.

Below are the current UK MSRP prices of Nvidia’s RTX 50 series graphics cards.

  • RTX 5090 – Was £1,939 – Now £1889 (2.5% Drop)
  • RTX 5080 – Was £979 – Now £949 (3.1% Drop)
  • RTX 5070 Ti – £729 (Unchanged)
  • RTX 5070 – Was £539 – Now £529 (1.8% Drop)

(Pricing via Nvidia UK)

While Nvidia has lowered its UK RTX 50-series MSRP pricing, remember that these prices will rise again if the US dollar strengthens. However, if the US dollar continues to decline, further price drops may happen in the UK and other regions. Alternatively, US pricing could rise.

Note that while Nvidia has lowered its prices, we only expect these pricing levels on Nvidia Founders Edition graphics cards. After all, Nvidia’s Founders Edition MSRP prices do not apply to aftermarket AIB GPU models (as they have their own MSRP prices).
