Nvidia RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti Specifications Leak

Nvidia’s RTX 5070 will launch with just 12GB of GDDR7 memory

Thanks to Kopite7kimi, detailed specifications for Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti have leaked onto the web. Both GPUs will feature GDDR7 memory and feature higher TDPs than their predecessors.

Nvidia is reportedly launching its RTX 50 series of graphics cards at CES 2025. There, it may reveal its entire high-end RTX 50 series GPU lineup, from its flagship 5090 to its 5070.

Based on this leak, Nvidia’s RTX 5070 will feature 12GB of GDDR7 memory, and the RTX 5070 Ti will feature 16GB of GDDR7 memory. This gives the RTX 5070 Ti 4GB more memory than Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti, while the RTX 5070 has no increase in memory capacity.

With 8,960 and 6,144 CUDA cores, Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 will have 16.7% and 4% more CUDA cores than their RTX 40 series counterparts. Sadly, the clock speeds of these new GPUs are unknown. Neither are Blackwell’s architectural benefits over Nvidia’s Ada Lovelace architecture. This means we cannot accurately guess the performance of these new GPUs. Regardless, it is disappointing that Nvidia’s RTX 5070 doesn’t feature more memory or have a larger increase in CUDA core count.
