OCUK has over 1,000 Sapphire RX 9070 XT Nitro+ GPUs coming, and all of them will cost £699.95

Reasonable prices for premium GPUs? Overclockers UK and Sapphire show others how it’s done

We just released our review of Sapphire’s Radeon RX 9070 XT Nitro+ GPU, and we were thoroughly impressed with it. Even better, it is priced at £699.95, a little more than £100 higher than AMD’s RX 9070 XT MSRP. That’s a low price for a premium GPU model, especially when you look at premium Nvidia graphics cards.

Tonnes of RX 9070 XT Nitro+ stock is coming to OCUK

Today, we have received confirmation from Sapphire and Overclockers UK that over 1,000 of these GPUs will arrive with the retailer on Friday. Pre-orders for these GPUs will become available tomorrow at 2 PM GMT. All of these GPUs will have a fixed price of £699.95. Not only is this a solid price, with 1,000 incoming, pre-orders will be shipped quickly.

For the past few years, the idea of a “Premium” GPU model with a price this close to “MSRP” has been absurd. Even the idea of a GPU selling at or close to its MSRP is often seen as a miracle. The sad thing about today’s GPU market is that we need to praise companies that do things the way they should be done. Between AMD, Overclockers UK, and Sapphire, we now have a premium GPU model that is being released at reasonable prices.

If all premium GPUs were priced like this, PC enthusiasts would have much less to complain about. AMD’s RX 9070 series launch isn’t a launch where GPUs are in short supply. Neither is it a launch where premium models cost 30-70% more than the product’s stated MSRP.

This RX 9070 XT Nitro+ costs less than all RTX 5070 Ti models. It also costs less than many RTX 5070 models.
